Asian Art Museum Tour

Join other Cornellians for a docent led tour of the “Looking East” special exhibition organized by the Boston Fine Arts Museum that has toured the world. This exhibit explores the many movements and artists affected by Japanese art, including the great impressionist and post-impressionist painters Vincent van Gogh, Mary Cassatt, Edgar Degas, Paul Gauguin and Claude Monet. Juxtaposing masterpieces of Western art and design with rare works by prominent Japanese artists, the exhibition reveals the interplay of new styles and themes inspired by Japan.


Ticket Prices:

Adult - $30

Seniors/Students - $25

Asian Art Museum Members & NARM Members and Children (aged 12 and younger) - $10


Our fee includes museum admission, Special Exhibit fee for Looking East, and docent fee. Asian Art Museum, NARM, Seniors and Students are entitled to special rates but please bring membership cards or ID for verification.

After the tour, please feel free to linger in the galleries with other Cornellians in the museum.

This event is hosted by the Cornell Asian Alumni Association but all are welcome to this special event.
