A Day at the Racetrack

Join Cornellians, family, and friends at Golden Gate Fields in Berkeley to enjoy a day at the racetrack. We'll have reserved seats in the outdoor boxes at the Clubhouse level. Each summer, Golden Gate Fields hosts Sunday Dollar Days, which means that $1 hot dogs and $1 beers are only a short walk away. All ages are welcome to attend, and betting is completely optional. The first race of the day starts at 12:45pm.

Parking: $1 self-parking is available at the Buchanan Street entrance or $10 valet parking is available at the Gilman Street (Turf Club) entrance.

Finding us: Enter through the Gilman Street entrance to reach the Clubhouse directly, or enter through Buchanan Street and head up the stairs. Regardless of which entrance you take, there is a $5 entrance fee. The boxes are outside the Clubhouse. When you reach the box, an additional $5 box payment will be collected. We will be in rows 3 and 4 between F and G. Boxes will be marked with "Cornell". Don't forget to wear your red!

Cost: Registration is free and encouraged to ensure we reserve enough seating. A $5 entrance fee and a $5 box fee ($10 total) will be collected at Golden Gate Fields. Concessions will be available for purchase.
