Join fellow Cornell alumni for a hike at the Picchetti Ranch Open Space Preserve located in the foothills of Cupertino in the South Bay. We will hike the Zinfandel trail. Picchetti Ranch, named after the Picchetti family, who emigrated from Italy in the 1870s, features a brick winery building and farm complex.
Location: Meet at the parking lot at the entrance of the Picchetti Ranch Open Space Preserve (Next to Picchetti Winery) Trail Length: About 4.5-5 miles. Directions: Exit Foothill Expressway from Highway 280, travel 3.5 miles southwest (toward the mountains) on Foothill Boulevard/Stevens Canyon Road. Turn right on Montebello Road. The Preserve is 0.5 miles up Montebello Road on the left.
