    In celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, enjoy a private screening with your fellow Ivy+ alumni of the reimagined The Wedding Banquet, based on the 1993 Ang Lee classic.

    Director Andrew Ahn has remade this joyful comedy of errors about a chosen family navigating cultural identity, queerness, and family expectations. Starring Bowen Yang, Lily Gladstone, Kelly Marie Tran, Han Gi-chan, Joan Chen, and Youn Yuh-jung, The Wedding Banquet is a poignant and heartfelt reminder that being part of a family means learning to both accept and forgive.

    After the movie, there will be an optional no-host social at Campus Bar, a block away from the movie theater at 2241 Chestnut Street.

Join us for a special get-together and fun mixer at the Hi Dive Bar in San Francisco for light food, great conversation, and new connections!

    The distinctive green building of the Hi Dive Bar is a favorite hangout for SF Giants fans on their way to a home game. The outdoor patio has a great view of Pier 28, the Bay Bridge, and the San Francisco skyline. This is a no-host event.

    Join Ivy+ alumni for an evening of poker and socializing, while raising money for a nonprofit tackling homelessness through innovative, scalable solutions.

    This annual event is open to players and non-players. Bring a partner or friend!

    • Cool Venue: Hillsborough Racquet Club is a private club, once an early 20th-century private polo clubhouse on a majestic tree-lined residential street.
    • Fantastic Food & Drink: Heavy appetizers, wine, and beer.
    • Fun: Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament with professional dealers + Blackjack tables (after you exit the poker tournament).
    • Beginners are Welcome! We always have beginners at the Final Table - we’ll teach you the game.
    • Fundraiser: A meaningful contribution will be made to the nonprofit Dignity Moves, which provides interim housing solutions to help address the homeless challenge in California and beyond. Dignity Moves is led by veteran Silicon Valley executive Elizabeth Funk (HBS MBA '96).

    Come to socialize and to learn more during the pre-opera talk about Lindy Hume’s new production of Mozart’s sublime opera of faith and duty tested to the limits. Stunning projections of craggy coastlines and raging seas reverberate with Mozart’s majestic score.

    Doors open at 6:30 pm. Anyone arriving for the Pre-Performance Reception need to enter through the North Carriage Doors, which are on the courtyard side of the Opera House.

    • 6:30-7:20 pm: Pre-performance event (located in the North Dress Circle).
    • 7:20-7:30 pm: Attendees are seated before performance begins.
    • 7:30 pm: Performance begins (there is no late seating).
