Come indulge in an authentic 6-course Bangladeshi tasting menu with an intimate gathering hosted at a Cornell Board Member’s home! We'll be serving up a 6-course menu of dishes celebrating the Monsoon flavors of Bangladesh.

In the spirit of the sold out 2023 Western White House Party, step into an elegant summer afternoon at one of the Peninsula’s most iconic private estates.

Join us for Le Blanc, a summer garden soirée set at the historic French château in Hillsborough, once the residence of Bing Crosby (1965-2025). On Sunday, August 16, 2026, from 11:00 am –2:00 PM PST, guests will gather for an elevated outdoor experience blending timeless architecture, curated company, and refined leisure.

Hosted by Harvard Business School Association of Northern California, and co-hosted by over 20 MBA and Ivy+ alumni organizations, this event brings together a highly curated community of exceptional people for an afternoon designed to foster meaningful connections in a relaxed, sophisticated setting.

The majority of the event will take place outdoors, taking full advantage of the estate’s manicured gardens and European-inspired grounds. In keeping with the theme, guests are asked to wear all white, creating a cohesive and visually striking atmosphere.

Guests can expect a polished yet social environment, with light bites, refreshments, and music complementing the setting. The tone is intentionally balanced: elevated but not formal, social yet selective.

Cornell Cares East Bay - Calling All Animal Lovers! (Sat, August 29, 2026)

Volunteer with Milo Animal Rescue at Point Richmond for Cornell Cares! This is the eighth time we have shown our generous Big Red spirit at this popular volunteer event, while benefiting from a fun and rewarding experience with fellow alumni.

There are countless ways that you can help make a difference for the many animals currently awaiting adoption. Volunteers can help with animal care tasks, such as brushing dogs and socializing cats, or maintenance of the facilities.

We will meet at the Milo facility at 220 S. Garrard Blvd. in Point Richmond at 10 am; please plan to arrive on time. Plenty of street parking is available. There will be a brief orientation, followed by volunteer activities. Children must be at least 12 and accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Registration closes on Thursday, August 27 at 5 pm (or when registration is full), and is limited to 15 people. Please register everyone who's attending, including your children. If your plans change, please notify Mae Lum at maewlum@gmail.com so that your spot can go to another Cornellian.
