Who We AreWe are Cornell alumni, students, and parents. As the Cornell Alumni Association of Northern California, also known as Cornell NorCal, our mission is to engage Cornell alumni and to celebrate the spirit of Cornell University in Northern California. Founded in 1979 as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, Cornell NorCal represents approximately 15,000 members of the Cornell community across the San Francisco Bay Area. Throughout our 40+ year history, we have been fortunate to draw countless volunteer Cornellians to staff our board of directors and to plan and host our activities. |
What We DoWe bring Cornellians together through events, scholarships, and a partnership with Cornell University. Events: We host a variety of fun events every year, including educational talks, joint mixers, annual events (i.e., Zinck's night, holiday parties), outdoor events, museum tours and volunteer events, to name just a few. Scholarships: Cornell NorCal gives back to the community by making small donations, when possible, to newly admitted Bay Area Cornell students. |
