Join alumni from Northwestern University for a breathtaking hike through Baker beach and Marshall’s beach. The 2.7-mile segment of the California Coastal trail that runs through the Presidio starts at the 25th Avenue Gate near Baker Beach, traces the rocky coastal bluffs, and ends at the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. Native blooms and shrubs, windswept Monterey cypress, and the craggy shoreline below add to the stunning beauty of this trail.
The up and back trail also provides numerous access points to the Presidio’s historic gun batteries, including Battery Chamberlin, Battery Boutelle, and Battery Godfrey. So don’t miss an opportunity to join fellow alumni as we explore the northwest most point of San Francisco.
