Don't miss the opportunity to hike Mount Tamalpais’ Steep Ravine Trail with Cornell University alumni and friends. You’ll be treated to incredible views of the ocean, towering redwood trees, and a lush canyon filled with an abundance of local flora and fauna.

Join Cornell University alumni and friends for an exhilarating hike of the Steep Ravine Trail - starting high in Mt Tam and ending on the sands of Stinson Beach.

We’ll meet at Pantoll Ranger’s Station, the trailhead is directly next to the parking lot. The entire group will follow the Steep Ravine path alongside Web Creek as we descend down Mt. Tam. Enjoy views of majestic Redwoods and local flowers. Web Creek’s waters have etched a unique trail deep into the landscape over millennia - which includes several waterfalls and many sharp declines. The steepest of these sections is navigated by an ancient wooden ladder.

Near the end of the Steep Ravine trail, we’ll diverge along the Dipesa trail and head directly onto Stinson beach. The organizers will then ferry drivers back to the trailhead - after which the entire team will have the option to join us for a meal in downtown Stinson Beach
