The Alameda Food Bank serves about 300 households and needs volunteers to help clients select food, receive food deliveries, and complete other tasks as assigned by the volunteer manager and the warehouse coordinator.
You must wear closed-toe shoes like sneakers or boots, and I recommend wearing layers as it can be chilly in the warehouse, especially in the morning.
This is a great way to help those less fortunate and to celebrate Cornell Cares Day!
