Join fellow Cornell Alumni on Cornell Cares day to start the New Year by giving back: Volunteer at the Sacred Heart community service in San Jose.
Sacred Heart Community Service (SHCS) is dedicated to bringing our community together to address poverty in Silicon Valley. Through a comprehensive array of resources, services, and community involvement initiatives, SHCS is making a real impact in the lives of working poor families. Their vision is a community united to ensure that every child and adult is free from poverty.
You will be volunteering in the Clothes Closet, Pantry or Donation Station. Parking is available on the street.
DRESS & SHOES:
Close-toed shoes are required and layered clothing is highly recommended as some tasks may be outside in unheated areas.
