As Cornellians, we seek to bond with each other in good times and tough times. Unfortunately, with the outbreak of COVID-19, especially in the Bay Area, in-person group gatherings have become too much of a risk to the community.
As a result of the growing number of cases, we have decided to focus on keeping the Cornell NorCal community connected via virtual events in the meantime. We will keep this community up to date on any changes on upcoming events. We hope to see you healthy at an event in the near future.

SF Jazz Open Sound Check featuring José James

SF Jazz is opening its door for the music hall. Bring your kids (K-12th) and enjoy this exclusive, behind-the-scene sound check rehearsal featuring artist José James.

This event will allow the kids (and adults alike) to see the critical preparation that goes into making the performance a success.

José James has transcended his reputation as a jazz singer to embrace influences including R&B, Moroccan Gnawa music, hip-hop and gospel. James returns with Love in a Time of Madness, a full-force jump into contemporary R&B that blends moody soul, electronic pop, and trap beats, with the occasional influence of African folk, American gospel and Minneapolitan funk.

This is a free event for our members.  Space is very limited, so register early! The event is mainly for children, but we can't say no if you are a kid at heart :) Each child needs to be accompanied by an adult.
