IMPORTANT MESSAGE ABOUT THE CORONAVIRUS & CORNELL NORCAL EVENTS

As Cornellians, we seek to bond with each other in good times and tough times. Unfortunately, with the outbreak of COVID-19, especially in the Bay Area, in-person group gatherings have not yet re-started.
However, Cornell NorCal continues to present a robust calendar of virtual events on a monthly basis. Additionally, we are cross-posting highlighted events from other Cornell clubs on our page below.
Please check back in here, find us on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/CornellNorCal/), or sign up for our newsletter to get regular updates on upcoming events.

Sincerely,

Cornell NorCal Board of Directors

Organizational culture isn't just a hot topic--it's an untapped asset and potential liability for all businesses. And yet, for all its potential to make or break, few know how to manage cultures with proficiency.  Karen Jaw-Madson,  author of Culture Your Culture: Innovating Experiences @Work, will share Design of Work Experience (DOWE), the much needed, step-by-step “how to” for designing, implementing, and sustaining culture in organizations in a coversation with JP Mangalindan, the Chief Tech Correspondent for Yahoo Finance. With the practice of DOWE, culture will no longer be esoteric or intangible, but overt, meaningful, fully leveraged, and truly experienced. Please join us for an evening of learning, starting with a fireside chat and followed by Q&A and an interactive exercise. Books will be available for purchase at the event.

The event will be hosted at Symantec's on site restaurant (Union 82) and will have limited ticket availability. There will be no tickets available at the door.

JP Mangalindan is the chief tech correspondent for Yahoo Finance based in San Francisco covering the intersection of business and technology.
