• Directions: Go to Dead-end on Mountaire Parkway where you will find places to park. Meet at the gate opening into Mt Diablo state park.

Let us spend time together visiting Mount Diablo - a sacred mountain to the Miwok and Ohlone Native Americans of this region. To thousands of bay area residents, Mt. Diablo is a familiar shape on the skyline. To many state park visitors, it’s a favorite spot to sightsee, hike, or picnic. But to those who once lived in the surrounding valleys, this mountain was considered the "point of creation," endowed with a unifying energy for renewal and refreshment for all who visit it. Let us get together and share our life stories and wisdom during the walk.
