Take a tour of the Boichik Bagel Factory in Berkeley, where "bagel dreams come true," with founder, owner, and fellow Cornell alumnus Emily Winston (Engineering, '00).

From one storefront in the Elmwood neighborhood of Berkeley, Boichik Bagels is now also in Larkspur, Palo Alto, and Santa Clara. Lauded in the New York Times, SF Chronicle, The Mercury News, and our very own Cornell Alumni magazine, these bagels are "to die for."

Emily grew up eating bagels from H&H, the Upper West Side institution in New York City, and subsequently went on a quest to create a bagel she'd want to eat. Emily herself will give us a tour of the wholesale bagel factory, an 18,000-square-foot production facility that boasts an automated dough production line. Afterwards everyone can purchase their own customized bagel and schmear, along with a beverage of their choice.

The first tour in August 2023 had an overwhelming response. Registration this year is limited, so buy your tickets now! Please note, no refunds on ticket purchases will be allowed. However, tickets are transferable for the same event.
