Are you ready to scale new heights and unleash your inner rock star? Join other Cornell alumni for an exhilarating Introduction to Rock Climbing Class designed for adventurers aged 7 and up by owner Scott Sklar (Arts & Sciences, '80).
In this action-packed two-hour session, you’ll dive into the essentials of climbing, mastering top rope systems and auto belays in a fun, supportive classroom setting. Whether you're a total newbie or just looking to polish your skills, we’ve got you covered!
What’s in store?
- Hands-On Learning: Get hands-on experience with climbing gear and techniques.
- Climbing Time: Time permitting, you’ll have the chance to hit the walls and put your newfound skills to the test!
- Climbing Techniques: Learn the basics of climbing technique to help you conquer those walls with confidence!
- Includes a Day Pass for climbing after the class

Cornell NorCal dues-paying members: $32 per person
Non-members: $40 per person
Due to venue requirements, no refunds will be granted. However, tickets are transferable for the same event.
